Directed and animated by Dylan McIntyre, ‘The Art of Noise’ won one of only two silver Cannes Design Lions in 2013. With a VO and over 20 scenes to illustrate, we created a 90 second animation that would directly connect ‘what you hear’ with ‘what you see’. Through custom scripting, McIntyre developed a way to feed soundwaves through the illustrated imagery. The audio is fed through the linework, distorting the line to reflect the bass or treble.
